Description
Zestril 5mg 28Tab contains lisinopril, an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and heart failure. Lisinopril works by relaxing blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure and makes it easier for the heart to pump blood. In heart failure, it helps to reduce the workload on the heart. Zestril 5mg is also used to improve survival after a heart attack. This medication is usually taken once daily and this pack contains 28 tablets for oral administration.

Directions for Use:
Take Zestril 5mg tablets once daily, at the same time each day. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. You can take it with or without food. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage for you based on your condition and response to treatment. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully.
Precautions:
Inform your doctor about your complete medical history, especially if you have kidney disease, liver disease, diabetes, or a history of angioedema (swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat). Lisinopril can cause dizziness or lightheadedness, especially when you first start taking it or if your dose is increased. Be cautious when standing up quickly from a sitting or lying position. Tell your doctor about all other medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and herbal supplements, as there can be potential drug interactions. Avoid using salt substitutes containing potassium unless recommended by your doctor. This medication should not be used during pregnancy, especially during the second and third trimesters, as it can harm the unborn baby. It is also not recommended for use during breastfeeding. Common side effects may include cough, dizziness, and fatigue. If you experience any severe side effects, such as difficulty breathing or swelling, seek immediate medical attention.
