Description
Loxol 100Mg 30Tab contains loxoprofen sodium as its active ingredient. Loxoprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) belonging to the propionic acid derivative class. It works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, substances in the body that contribute to pain, inflammation, and fever. By reducing prostaglandin levels, loxoprofen helps to alleviate these symptoms.
Loxol 100mg tablets are used to relieve pain and inflammation in various conditions, including:
- Osteoarthritis
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Low back pain
- Sciatica
- Shoulder pain (periarthritis of the shoulder)
- Neck pain (cervical spondylosis)
- Post-operative pain
- Pain and inflammation following trauma
- Toothache

Loxol 100Mg Tablets are indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with various musculoskeletal disorders and post-operative or post-traumatic conditions, as well as for the treatment of pain and inflammation in toothache.
Directions for use: The usual adult dose is one 100mg tablet three times daily, orally. However, the dosage may be adjusted by your doctor based on the severity of your symptoms. It is generally recommended to take Loxol after meals to minimize the risk of stomach upset. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully regarding dosage and duration of treatment.
Important Information: Loxol is a prescription medication. Inform your doctor if you have any allergies to NSAIDs (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen), or if you have a history of stomach ulcers, bleeding problems, heart disease, kidney disease, or liver disease. Loxoprofen may increase the risk of serious cardiovascular events (heart attack, stroke) and gastrointestinal problems (ulcers, bleeding, perforation), especially with long-term use or in individuals with risk factors. Avoid using Loxol with other NSAIDs. Tell your doctor about all other medications you are taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, and herbal supplements, as interactions can occur, particularly with blood thinners, other pain relievers, and certain medications for blood pressure. Common side effects may include stomach upset, nausea, heartburn, diarrhea, and headache. If you experience any severe side effects such as chest pain, shortness of breath, black tarry stools, or persistent abdominal pain, seek immediate medical attention. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place.
