Description
Levitra 20Mg 4Tab contains vardenafil as its active ingredient. Vardenafil belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It works by helping to increase blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. This increased blood flow can help men achieve and maintain an erection sufficient for sexual activity.
Levitra is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), also known as impotence, which is the inability to get or keep an erection firm enough for satisfactory sexual intercourse. Levitra only works when a man is sexually aroused.
Levitra 20Mg Tablets are indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in adult men.
Directions for use: The usual recommended starting dose of Levitra is 10 mg, taken orally as needed, about 60 minutes before sexual activity. Based on effectiveness and tolerability, the dose may be increased to 20 mg or decreased to 5 mg. The maximum recommended dose is 20 mg. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once per day. Levitra can be taken with or without food. However, if taken with a high-fat meal, the onset of action may be delayed.
Important Information: Levitra is a prescription medication. Inform your doctor about all your medical conditions, especially heart problems (such as angina, heart failure, irregular heartbeats, or a history of heart attack or stroke), kidney problems, liver problems, bleeding disorders, stomach ulcers, sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, leukemia, or any physical deformity of the penis. Also, tell your doctor about all other medications you are taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, and herbal supplements, as interactions can occur. Certain medications, such as nitrates (used for chest pain) and alpha-blockers (used for high blood pressure or prostate problems), should not be taken with Levitra. Common side effects may include headache, flushing, stuffy or runny nose, indigestion, and dizziness. Rare but serious side effects can occur; seek immediate medical attention if you experience a sudden decrease or loss of vision or hearing, or an erection that lasts for more than four hours (priapism). Levitra does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases. Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.
