Klare 500Mg 14Tab contains clarithromycin as its active ingredient. Clarithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic that works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria. It is effective against a wide range of bacterial infections.
Klare 500mg tablets are commonly prescribed to treat various bacterial infections, including:
- Upper respiratory tract infections (e.g., tonsillitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis)
- Lower respiratory tract infections (e.g., bronchitis, pneumonia)
- Skin and soft tissue infections (e.g., impetigo, folliculitis)
- Middle ear infections (otitis media)
- Infections caused by Helicobacter pylori (in combination with other medications)
Klare 500Mg Tablets are indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including:
- Pharyngitis/tonsillitis
- Acute maxillary sinusitis
- Acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis
- Pneumonia
- Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections
- Acute otitis media
- Treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection (in combination with other drugs)
Directions for use: Klare 500Mg Tablets should be taken orally as directed by your doctor. The usual dose for adults is one 500mg tablet every 12 hours. The dosage and duration of treatment will depend on the type and severity of the infection. Klare tablets can be taken with or without food. It is important to complete the full course of treatment as prescribed by your doctor, even if you start to feel better, to ensure the infection is completely eradicated and to prevent the development of antibiotic resistance.
Important Information: Klare is a prescription antibiotic. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to clarithromycin or any other macrolide antibiotics (e.g., erythromycin, azithromycin). Also, tell your doctor about any other medical conditions you have, especially liver or kidney problems, and all other medications you are taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, and herbal supplements. Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and changes in taste. If you experience severe side effects, such as severe allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling, difficulty breathing), persistent diarrhea, or signs of a new infection, contact your doctor immediately.
