Description
Hairgrow 2% Solution is a topical medication containing 2% minoxidil. It is used to stimulate hair growth and slow down hair loss in individuals experiencing hereditary hair loss, also known as androgenetic alopecia or male/female pattern baldness.
Minoxidil is a vasodilator, meaning it helps to widen blood vessels in the scalp, which can improve blood flow to the hair follicles. While the exact mechanism by which minoxidil promotes hair growth is not fully understood, it is believed to stimulate hair follicles and prolong the growth phase of the hair cycle, leading to the regrowth of thicker and longer hair in some individuals.
Hairgrow 2% Solution is indicated for:
- The treatment of hereditary hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) in men and women.
Directions for use: Apply 1 ml of Hairgrow 2% Solution to the dry scalp in the hair loss area twice daily, usually morning and night. Use the applicator provided to ensure accurate dosage. Gently massage the solution into the scalp with your fingertips for a few minutes. Allow the solution to dry completely before styling your hair or going to bed. Do not rinse the hair for at least 4 hours after application. Continued use is necessary to maintain hair regrowth. It may take several months of consistent use to see noticeable results.
Important Information: Hairgrow 2% Solution is for external use on the scalp only. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, and mouth. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not apply to other parts of the body. Do not use on irritated, red, or infected scalp. Increased hair shedding may occur during the first few weeks of use as old hair falls out to be replaced by new growth. If this continues for more than a few weeks, consult your doctor. Some individuals may experience side effects such as scalp irritation, itching, dryness, or unwanted hair growth on other parts of the body. If these side effects persist or become bothersome, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature.
