Description

Dermovate 25Gm Cream contains the active ingredient clobetasol propionate, which is a highly potent topical corticosteroid. This 25-gram tube of cream is prescribed for the short-term treatment of severe inflammatory skin conditions that have not responded adequately to less potent corticosteroids. Clobetasol propionate works by reducing inflammation, itching, and redness by suppressing the immune response in the skin. Dermovate Cream is typically used to manage conditions such as:

• Severe eczema: Including atopic dermatitis and contact dermatitis.
• Psoriasis: Particularly stubborn or severe plaques.
• Lichen planus: An inflammatory skin condition causing itchy, flat-topped bumps.
• Discoid lupus erythematosus: A chronic skin condition causing red, scaly patches.
• Other severe inflammatory and pruritic dermatoses: That are responsive to potent corticosteroids.

Due to its high potency, Dermovate Cream should only be used as directed by a healthcare professional and generally for short periods. It is applied topically to the affected areas of the skin.

Directions for Use:

Wash your hands before and after applying Dermovate Cream. Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected skin area(s) once or twice daily, or as directed by your doctor. Gently rub the cream in until it disappears. Do not use Dermovate Cream on the face unless specifically instructed by your doctor, and avoid contact with the eyes. Do not cover the treated area with bandages or other occlusive dressings unless directed by your doctor. The duration of treatment will be determined by your doctor, and it is important not to use Dermovate Cream for longer than prescribed due to the risk of side effects.

• Dermovate Cream is a potent corticosteroid and should only be used under the strict guidance of a qualified healthcare professional.
• Inform your doctor if you have any allergies to clobetasol propionate or any other ingredients in the cream.

• Avoid getting the cream in your eyes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
