Description
Augmentin 375mg Tablets contain a combination of amoxicillin (a penicillin-type antibiotic) and clavulanic acid (a beta-lactamase inhibitor). It is used to treat bacterial infections.
Uses:
- Respiratory tract infections (e.g., pneumonia, bronchitis).
- Ear infections (otitis media).
- Sinus infections (sinusitis).
- Skin and soft tissue infections.
- Urinary tract infections.
- Dental infections.
Dosage and Administration:
The dosage of Augmentin 375mg will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and the severity of the infection. It is usually taken orally, two or three times a day. Swallow the tablets whole with water. It can be taken with or without food. Follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor carefully. Complete the full course of treatment, even if you start to feel better.
Warnings:
- Do not use if you are allergic to amoxicillin, clavulanic acid, or any penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics.
