Description
Aprovel 300mg 28 Tablets contain irbesartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and to help protect the kidneys in people with diabetes who have kidney disease.
Uses:
- Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension).
- Treatment of diabetic nephropathy (kidney disease in people with type 2 diabetes).
Dosage and Administration:
The dosage of Aprovel 300mg will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and response to treatment. It is usually taken orally, once a day. Swallow the tablets whole with water. It can be taken with or without food. Follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor carefully.
Warnings:
- Do not use if you are allergic to irbesartan or any of the other ingredients.
- Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver problems.
- Inform your doctor if you have heart failure or are taking potassium supplements.
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Especially avoid during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy.
- Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking, including over-the-counter medications and herbal supplements, as they may interact with irbesartan.
- Keep out of reach of children.

- Lightheadedness.
- Fatigue.
- Diarrhea.
- Nausea.
- Muscle pain.
- Hyperkalemia (high potassium levels).
