Description
Aciloc 40mg 14 Capsules contain ranitidine, an H2-receptor antagonist. It is used to reduce the production of stomach acid, relieving symptoms of heartburn, acid reflux, and indigestion. It also aids in healing stomach and duodenal ulcers.
Uses:
- Relief of heartburn and acid indigestion.
- Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
- Healing of stomach and duodenal ulcers.
- Prevention of stress ulcers.
Dosage and Administration:
The usual dose for adults is one 40mg capsule once or twice daily, or as directed by your doctor. Capsules should be swallowed whole with a glass of water, with or without food. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully.
Warnings:
- Do not use if you are allergic to ranitidine or any of the other ingredients.
- Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
- Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems.
- This medication may mask the symptoms of more serious conditions, such as stomach cancer. Consult your doctor if your symptoms persist or worsen.
- Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking, including over-the-counter medications and herbal supplements, as they may interact with ranitidine.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Possible Side Effects:
- Headache.
- Dizziness.
- Constipation or diarrhea.
- Nausea or vomiting.
- Rash.
- Rarely, more serious side effects such as liver problems or changes in blood cell counts may occur.
